Extracurricular Programs

We have chosen top-notch programs and teachers to be an extension of our program offerings at Athena. Registration for extracurricular activities generally begins in early August for the regular school year and we encourage families with newly enrolled children to consult with their child’s Lead Guide to determine the best time to enroll their child in any extracurricular programs.

Athena runs background checks on every teacher and coach, provides emergency training, and ensures that each instructor is current in CPR and First Aid.  Please note, however, that while Athena oversees all programs, the owner of each program runs their respective program independently. Registration and payment for extracurricular programs are handled directly by each program.

Athena Montessori Academy

“I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my son’s education. The loving guides at Athena taught him so much more than reading and writing– he’s learned how to take care of himself and those around him while navigating the social community of his classroom. I feel these life skills will serve him well as he graduates and enters first grade in the fall!”
- Rebecca O’Hara (Child now attending Eanes Elementary)
