We have chosen top-notch programs and teachers to be an extension of our program offerings at Athena. We currently offer supplemental programs in our gym and on the lawn in the areas of gymnastics, creative movement, yoga, soccer, Spanish, martial arts, and golf. Registration for Extracurriculars generally begins in early August for the regular school year, and we encourage families with newly enrolled children to consult with their child’s Lead guide to determine the best time to enroll their child in any Extracurricular programs.
Athena runs background checks on every teacher and coach, provides emergency training, and ensures that every instructor is current in CPR and First Aid. Please note, however, that while Athena oversees all programs, the owner of each program runs their respective program independently. Registration and payment for Extracurricular programs are handled directly by each partner. You are welcome to turn in paperwork and checks to any of our tuition drop-boxes on campus, and we will ensure that they are delivered to their respective partner.

Join Miss Heather for Primary Art Club on Thursdays, this fall. Heather is an AMS certified guide, as well as a trained art educator and painter. This semester, budding artists will explore drawing and painting techniques, learn about famous artists from history and build awareness about the exciting power of self expression. Our last session will include an art “opening reception” where parents can see the work their child has made and take all projects home. The class fee covers the cost of all supplies and materials. You can read more about Heather on the Athena Staff page.
