TOTs 2 Lead Guide
I’m originally from Maine and moved to Austin five years ago to be closer to my sister, Brie, and to take advantage of all that Austin has to offer. I always knew I wanted to help people, so I practiced massage therapy for a short time until I discovered my love for Montessori through my sister. As I learned more from her about the philosophy and approach, I knew it was the path for me.
Having worked with toddlers for five years now, I find observing the day-to-day progress that toddlers make in a Montessori classroom to be the most fascinating part of my work. I feel honored to be able to help give them the opportunity to flourish cognitively, physically, and emotionally in a safe and nurturing environment.
After a few years in the classroom, I pursued a certification program with The Center for Guided Montessori Studies and completed the IMC Infant-Toddler program in March of 2018.
I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to serve children at Athena!
