Angela Dyches (She/Her)

Hello, Athena Community!

I’m beyond excited to start my journey with Athena Montessori Academy as the new Floater. Working with children has been my passion for years, and I feel so lucky to be joining this amazing team. My background includes teaching 8th Grade English, working in daycare, and now I’m exploring some new adventures like yoga, birth work as a Doula, and of course, preschool education here at Athena! When I’m not working you can find me on the Ladybird trails downtown. I love to run, hike, and take my blue heeler pup to the park. 

I truly believe in a holistic approach to health, healing and learning, and I can’t wait to dive into the Montessori philosophy and help the children grow in such a thoughtful and nurturing way. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and making this year full of growth, learning, and a lot of fun!
