Hello Athena families!

 

I'm really excited to be a part of this amazing community for the second year and to have a role in helping children be the best they can be.

 

I was born and raised in Austin. I have always loved working with kids and used to regularly babysit. Working with kids has always put a smile on my face and been a rewarding experience for me. I feel like I sometimes learn just as much from the kids as they learn from me!

 

I fell in love with the Montessori philosophy after having been in public school my whole life. The way Montessori education encourages the child's individuality really speaks to me. 

 

In my free time I love going to new restaurants and trying new foods. I'm a huge food person and even keep a list of all the restaurants I want to try or really like. I also have a big family and two preschool-age nephews who I love to visit whenever possible.
