Karina Leon (She/Her)

Hi Athena Families,

My name is Karina Leon, but my family calls me Karen. I was born in Mexico City and raised in Austin, and am bilingual.

I’ve worked at many different places. Two years ago I had the chance to work with kids, and I loved it! I have enjoyed the opportunity to watch and learn from every child I've cared for, including my own. I have two kids, Alexis (8) and Mateo (2).

Outside of work, I like spending time with my family, including our two cats and one dog, and caring for my plants.

I'm so excited to to be part of the Athena community!
